"This event is not open to the public. Registered resort guests and club members only." That line sits under the New Year's Eve Fireworks Spectacular on the Champions Event Lawn, on the resort's Hammock Happenings calendar. It's the clearest access statement in the resort's whole holiday season, and it applies to many other listings too.
October went the other way. The resort opened its gates for its first Constellation Furyk & Friends on the Ocean Course, which Vaughn Taylor won on October 11 after a second sudden-death playoff against Alex Cejka, as the Palm Coast Observer reported. The holiday calendar that comes next is mostly built for members and resort guests. If you live in the Hammock without a club membership, you can get in through two places: Atlantic Grille and the Ocean Ballroom.
Atlantic Grille Is the Year-Round Public Restaurant
Most residents of the Hammock already know Atlantic Grille. It's open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 386.447.4610, and the resort's dining page says it "is open to the general public and reservations are highly recommended." Every other dining outlet on property has narrower access, and that matters more in November and December than at any other time of year.
The holiday menus keep the same open access. Thanksgiving dinner at Atlantic Grille runs from 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 26, at $60 per person. The Thanksgiving page repeats that "Atlantic Grille is open to the public" and strongly recommends reservations. The resort's October 1 announcement lists the courses: Caesar salad or tomato Florentine soup, carved turkey breast with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and gravy, then pumpkin or apple pie.
Christmas works the same way. On December 25, Atlantic Grille serves dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. at $65 per person, and the Christmas page again says it is open to the public.
The Ocean Ballroom Is the Second Public Door
The resort's big holiday buffets are open to the public, with reservations required. They are also the only events where the posted prices separate members from everyone else.
| Event | Date and time | Published prices | Reserve by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thanksgiving Buffet, Ocean Ballroom | Nov. 26, noon to 5 p.m. | $90 guests, $72 members, $35 children 4 to 12 | Nov. 22 |
| Thanksgiving To-Go, pickup in the Ocean Ballroom | Nov. 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. | $90 serves two, $45 each additional serving | Nov. 24 |
| Christmas Day Brunch Buffet, Ocean Ballroom | Dec. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. | $75 guests, $60 members, $35 children 4 to 12 | Dec. 22 |
All three take reservations at 386.246.5676 or by email to Christine Losagio at [email protected]. Tax and gratuity are extra. The Christmas listing also says credit card payments carry a 3% operations charge to cover processing fees.
The To-Go meal is the practical choice for anyone hosting at home in Hammock Dunes, Ocean Hammock or just up A1A. The resort says it is "available to all," and the menu covers green salad, slow-braised beef and barley soup, oven-roasted turkey breast with pan gravy and cranberry compote, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, charred green beans, sage and sausage sourdough stuffing, house-made rolls with honey butter, and pumpkin pie. Because it's priced per two people with $45 add-ons, a household of six can work out the cost before calling: $90 plus four extra servings comes to $270 before tax and gratuity.
Behind the Room Key
Most of the resort's dining sits on the other side of the line. Each restaurant's own page states the rule in nearly the same words:
- Delfinos Italian Chophouse: "open to club members and registered resort guests only"
- Loggerheads Sports Pub: open to club members and registered resort guests only
- Stix Authentic Sushi: open to club members and registered resort guests only
- Ocean Bar Café and the Lobby Bar: open to club members and registered resort guests only
- Hammock Beach Pizza & Gelato, Beach Brew and Hammock House: open to club members and registered resort guests
The holiday specials follow the same rules. Delfinos serves a $60 three-course turkey dinner on Thanksgiving and a $60 special from 5 to 10 p.m. on both December 24 and 25. Its Christmas special centers on beef braciole over fontina polenta, and both holiday listings repeat the members-and-registered-guests rule. On Thanksgiving, Loggerheads opens for football with a 1 p.m. first kickoff and serves the $22 Gobbler Stack from 4 to 10 p.m., again only for members and resort guests.
This gap is widest on New Year's Eve. Delfinos charges $155 for its December 31 dinner from 5 to 10 p.m., still for members and registered guests only. The midnight fireworks on the Champions Event Lawn are restricted the same way. The New Year's page mentions a Grand New Year's Eve Buffet and a special Atlantic Grille menu but gives no price, time or access details for either. On the two holidays before it, the public doors come with posted prices and deadlines. On New Year's Eve, any public option starts with a call to Atlantic Grille.
The Listings That Don't Say Who Gets In
Several family events on the holiday pages tie entry to the resort fee or a booking link and never say whether the public can attend. Ask before planning around any of them:
- Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, Thanksgiving morning on 16th Road, with stretches at 8 a.m. in the Atlantic Ballroom. It's listed as included in the resort fee for registered guests and complimentary for club members.
- Fall Festival, a Thanksgiving-weekend afternoon with farm animals and crafts at $15 per person. Pony rides and face painting cost extra, and no exact date is listed.
- Elf Stocking Drop-Off, December 15 to 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. An elf delivers a stocking to the guest's accommodation, so it's built for people staying on property.
- Christmas Eve lobby crafts from 3 to 5 p.m. with Santa's elf Dizzy, followed by a non-denominational service in the Atlantic Ballroom from 5 to 6 p.m.
- Kids' New Year's Eve Extravaganza, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at $100 per child ages 4 to 12.
- Polar Bear Plunge at the Main Beach Walkover and Game Day on the Champions Event Lawn, both 9 a.m. on January 1 and listed as included in the resort fee.
The resort's Thanksgiving announcement points non-guests to a workaround: overnight-stay specials that come with "access" to all of the holiday dining. A one-night booking turns a neighbor into a registered guest, at least for the holiday weekend.
The Deadlines, in Order
With Atlantic Grille and the Ocean Ballroom as the public options, the season comes down to a short list of dates:
- November 22: Thanksgiving Buffet reservations close.
- November 24: Thanksgiving To-Go orders close.
- November 26: Buffet from noon to 5 p.m., To-Go pickup from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Atlantic Grille dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.
- December 22: Christmas Day Brunch reservations close.
- December 25: Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Atlantic Grille dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.
- December 31: Call Atlantic Grille at 386.447.4610 to ask about its New Year's Eve menu.
The tournament will be back next fall, too. The resort's holidays page lists Constellation Furyk & Friends for October 4 to 11, 2027, and asks visitors to stay tuned for details.
At Hammock Beach, the difference between a public table and a members-only one is a large part of what a membership adds, and it's clearest in December. If you're considering a home in the Hammock and want to know how club access works at a given address, Coastal Pros can walk you through it. Schedule a private consultation.
